Hi, I’m Tasha! I’m the founder and lead sugarist of PEACH + SILK in Singapore, and I’ve been sugaring for five years. Before this, I spent about two years in civil engineering. After lockdown, I realised I wanted something I felt more passionate about.

I was already a sugaring client when I spotted a studio hiring. Applying was a slightly “why not?” decision that became one of the best choices I’ve made. Learning wasn’t easy, but I loved the satisfaction of getting better at something that had felt so difficult.

Then there are the clients. I love seeing someone arrive nervous and leave feeling good about themselves. Over time, appointments become conversations we pick up months later: careers, travels, relationships, and all the things happening in between. Those connections mean a lot to me.

I’m pretty relaxed as a person, and I take the craft seriously. My classes are practical, hands-on, and taught in English. I explain why we use a movement, and I’m happy to go over it again when it hasn’t clicked yet.

Hand technique is a particular focus. When I was learning, nerves made me grip too tightly and overthink every movement. Having been there, I pay attention to the small things that can make sugaring feel harder than it needs to. We’ll work out what to adjust so the technique can start to feel more natural.

Every pro was once a beginner. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and taking the time to build a strong foundation.

Outside sugaring, I’m a mum of one and a henna artist with about ten years of experience. Between engineering, creative work, and teaching, I’ve spent a lot of my life figuring out how things work with my hands. These days, my daughter keeps those hands pretty busy, too!
