Hi, I’m Dasha! Expect encouragement, plenty of practice and a class where we celebrate the small wins.

Get to know me

Hi, I’m Dasha! Expect encouragement, plenty of practice and a class where we celebrate the small wins.

I’ve been an esthetician for almost 15 years and am building The Flawless Collective in downtown Pittsburg, California. I started out waxing full time. My first introduction to sugaring didn’t win me over, but hearing clients ask for it led me to learn at the end of 2017. I’m glad I gave it another chance.

I focus on application, flicking and the way you position your body while you work. We’ll break down the movements, practice them and make adjustments together. I encourage students to take notes and use video references where helpful.

Learning a new skill can come with enough pressure already. I’ll point out your progress and help you recognize what you’re doing well, so you can keep building confidence with each attempt.

Outside the treatment room, I’m raising my children, trying new restaurants and going to concerts. Whatever we’re doing, we’re going to laugh!

Hi, I’m Elizabeth! I’m a hands-on educator who loves helping students find the small adjustments that make sugaring click.

Get to know me

Hi, I’m Elizabeth! I’m a hands-on educator who loves helping students find the small adjustments that make sugaring click.

I first discovered sugaring at the ICES trade show on a field trip with my esthetics school. Before finding my niche, I offered lash lifts and facials. My own experience as a sugaring client made me want to learn more and bring it into my business.

In class, I’ll demonstrate a technique, give you time to try it and work with you individually. We’ll look closely at hand placement, pressure, angle, skin tension and body positioning. Sometimes a small change makes a big difference, and I want you to understand why.

Feeling nervous is normal. There’s room to ask questions, get stuck and try again. Each practice gives you another chance to build confidence.

I believe there’s room for everyone in this industry, and I’m happy to share what I know. If I learn something that can help you, I want you to know it too. Expect a class where you can ask me anything.

Hi, I’m Amanda! I bring a calm approach to sugaring, with lots of encouragement and probably a few snacks.

Get to know me

Hi, I’m Amanda! I bring a calm approach to sugaring, with lots of encouragement and probably a few snacks.

I started sugaring in esthetics school in 2016, then spent five years at a sugaring spa before opening my own. I’ve taught with Sweet & True for seven years. The client relationships are what I love most, especially seeing someone leave a Brazilian appointment feeling more confident than when they arrived.

I pay close attention to how you learn. Sometimes that means stepping in to guide your hands. Sometimes it means giving you a little space to practice while I watch. If frustration starts building, we’ll pause, reset and approach the technique with a calmer mind.

Brazilians are my favorite service to teach. I’ll point out what’s working, give you something specific to adjust and help you see how far you’ve come. You don’t have to get everything right immediately. Your willingness to practice matters.

Outside class, my English bull terrier Stella is the center of my universe. Feeding people is my love language, so don’t be surprised if I offer you snacks on our breaks.

Raunette Vaughn

Hi, I’m Raunette! I’ve been sugaring since 2003, and I love helping students find their rhythm with calm, step-by-step guidance.

Get to know me

I’m a San Diego esthetician, educator, and mentor. I discovered sugaring while working at a resort spa after several years of offering waxing and facials. Trying it on my own sensitive skin made me want to keep learning. The relationships I’ve built since then are my favorite part of this work. Some clients have followed me for decades, and now I see their daughters and granddaughters, too.

Learning with me means working on more than hair removal. We’ll pay attention to posture, hand technique, room setup, and the little things that help a client feel comfortable. I especially enjoy teaching advanced sugaring techniques, including female and male Brazilians.

My approach is calm and practical. I break things down, adapt to how you learn, and point out your progress as you practice. If you’re nervous, you’re in good company. Learning something new takes patience, and you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Having worked in resort spas, salon rooms, and my own spa, I’m happy to share lessons about building a business, too. Outside the treatment room, I’m a mom of four sons and two dogs who loves the beach and a good festival.

Get to know me

My journey with sugaring began in 2019 when I discovered a new passion after my love for teaching in a school setting started to fade. Initially, I took a sugaring course just for fun, drawn by the incredible results and the desire to master the technique myself. What started as a hobby quickly transformed into my full-time business — Sugar IT! Studio. As an esthetician, I not only specialize in sugaring but also provide a range of facial and corrective skin treatments. My goal is to help clients feel confident and radiant by offering high-quality services tailored to their unique needs. In addition to running Sugar IT! Studio, I am also the proud owner of Skin Cosmetics, the official sub-distributor of Sweet&True products for Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao. Through Skin Cosmetics, I support beauty professionals by providing access to Sweet and True sugaring products and Sugaring courses among other premium, medical-grade products that elevate the services and client satisfaction for beauty professionals. Although I am no longer a teacher, my passion for education never left me. I now dedicate myself to teaching others how to succeed in sugaring, combining my love for beauty with my commitment to helping others grow their skills. Outside of my work, I’m an avid scuba diver, a creative spirit who enjoys arts and crafts, and a devoted animal lover.

Hi, I’m Kim! I bring hands-on sugaring, real business advice, and a sense of humor to every class.

Get to know me

I’m the owner of Glowmour Beauty Medispa in Tampa, Florida, an Air Force veteran, and a sugarist with five years of experience. Skincare was my focus before sugaring, but becoming a sugaring client myself is what really hooked me. Now I love helping clients discover it and teaching other professionals how to bring it into their businesses.

My classes are upbeat, hands-on, and taught in English. We’ll work through the technique together, with extra attention to Brazilians and getting unstuck. I also share practical marketing and business tips, because learning the service is only part of building a sugaring business.

Nervous? You don’t have to get everything right on your first try. I’ll help you breathe, reset, and keep practicing on different areas so you can build confidence. We’ll talk honestly about the sticky moments, too, so they feel less intimidating when you’re back in your own treatment room.

I’ve always said I should have been a comedian. Expect some laughs, plenty of practice, and room to be yourself.

I specialize in Korean Facials, sugar waxing, lash lifts, and more. I fell in love with sugar waxing in 2022 while working at a sugaring company closer to home—it was during a time of uncertainty, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

When I’m not working, you'll find me spending time with my fiancé and family, catching up over a sushi date (always my favorite!), or enjoying a fun cycling class—I’ve been at it for almost a year now, and it’s become one of my favorite ways to recharge.

What I love most about my work is building meaningful relationships with my clients and being part of such an inspiring, supportive beauty community. Whether you’re here for glowing skin, smooth results, or just a little “me time,” I’m thrilled to help you feel your absolute best.

Hi, I’m Aleah! My classes are fun, hands-on, and built to help you feel more confident with every try.

Get to know me

I’m a licensed Advanced Esthetician and the owner of The Skin Connoisseur in Akron, Ohio. Before esthetics, I worked in banking. I was already a sugaring client, but I had to drive about 40 minutes for an appointment. When I became licensed in 2019, sugaring was the first service I focused on. Today, it’s what I’m known for, and I love that for me.

My teaching style is upbeat, casual, and hands-on. I bring structure to class while making room for your pace, because everyone learns differently. We’ll practice ways to get unstuck, but just as importantly, we’ll work on staying calm when something feels unfamiliar.

I remember how easy it was to overthink a service as a new sugarist. That’s why I pay attention to how you’re feeling while you practice, helping you slow down, reset, and recognize what you’re doing well. Getting stuck doesn’t mean you can’t do it.

I love helping clients feel comfortable and confident in their skin. A few things about me: I love superheroes, I’m terrified of mushrooms, and I’ve never been hard waxed!

Get to know me

Hi, I’m Jillian! I’ve been sugaring since 2010, and I love helping students understand why a technique works.

I teach at Sugar Me in Greenville, South Carolina. I went to esthetics school thinking I’d focus on facials, but hair removal quickly won me over. My instructor owned a sugaring studio, and before graduating I was working the front desk at a Seattle studio, learning from its owners whenever I could.

My classes are in English, hands-on, patient and laid-back. I like keeping them small so I can watch your technique closely, answer questions and help you make adjustments that make sense. Brazilians, hand technique and troubleshooting are my strengths. I especially enjoy helping experienced waxers work through the different movements sugaring requires.

You’re not supposed to be good at something you haven’t learned yet. There’s room here to make mistakes, ask why and try again. My goal is for you to leave ready to keep practicing.

Outside the studio, I’m a mom who usually has a craft or DIY project going. I love being outdoors and would almost always rather be making or fixing something than sitting still.

Brazilians are my specialty. I love helping clients feel safe and comfortable during a service that can feel vulnerable, and I bring that same care to teaching. My classes are in English, with an adaptive approach that gives you time to work through each challenge as it comes up.

If you get stuck, I’ll help you figure out what’s happening and point out what you’re doing well. I’ve had plenty of sticky moments myself, and I’m happy to share them. Every client is different, and learning to make adjustments is part of becoming a confident sugarist.
